Cry No More Child
Cry no more child, the brokenness will mend.
Pain walked out the door, and love was ushered in.
Pick yourself up now, life starts a new.
Hold your head up high, your sky has changed to blue.
Defectiveness is gone, and desperation is not your friend.
Worthless has no meaning, depression has to end.
No need to feel the distance, no need to post the blame.
Your direction has taken a turn, and it will never be the same.
Cry no more child, the brokenness will mend.
Pain walked out the door, and love was ushered in.
The strength you didn’t feel, and the power you gave away.
Was stored inside a prayer, you would learn to pray someday.
And then you must forgive, for that is the true test.
So your mind will be set free, and your soul will be at rest.
Don’t stop to look back now, ahead is what’s in store.
After healing from your abuse, you will never cry no more.
